I’ve always loved sports. Not necessarily playing them, but they’ve always been a huge part of my life. I grew up watching the Eagles with my dad every Sunday. I remember all I wanted in 2001 was an Allen Iverson arm sleeve. I spent summers watching the Phillies with my great grandfather.
I spent countless days and afternoons at soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, and basketball games for my siblings. I cheered in high school solely because I loved football. It surrounded my life completely. And it still does. My brother plays college lacrosse, my sister plays field hockey year round, my boyfriend is a football coach and of course, I have my Philly teams.
After graduating college, I started my full time job but was still trying to figure out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I came across an add for a social media contributor for a beat website and started doing that, and eventually started with a writing role, realizing that’s what I wanted to do. I’ve been writing and podcasting about Philly sports since.
I’ve had several amazing opportunities up to this point including being in the press box for the 2018 Army/Navy game, attending the Eagles draft party as a media member, getting credentials for a Phillies game, a Sixers game, and a Wings game, and working as a production runner for Sunday Night Football. My favorite part about writing and cohosting a podcast is being able to share my opinion about my teams that I love. The countless hours I spend watching and researching the teams can actually be put to good use.
